Publication Ethics Statement

For Authors

  • Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must ensure that their submissions are original works and properly attribute and cite all sources. Plagiarism and AI writing in any form, is strictly prohibited.
  • Authorship and Contributions: All authors listed on a manuscript must have significantly contributed to the research. Authors must acknowledge individuals who contributed but do not meet authorship criteria in the acknowledgments.
  • Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or other conflicts of interest that may influence their research or the interpretation of their findings.
  • Data Access and Retention: Authors may be asked to provide raw data related to their manuscript for editorial review and should retain such data for a reasonable time after publication.

For Reviewers

  • Confidentiality: Reviewers must treat all manuscripts as confidential and must not disclose any information regarding the manuscript to anyone outside the editorial team.
  • Objectivity: Reviewers should evaluate manuscripts objectively and provide constructive feedback. Personal criticism of the author is not appropriate.
  • Acknowledgment of Sources: Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors and inform the editorial team of any significant similarity or overlap between the manuscript under consideration and other published papers.

For Editors

  • Publication Decisions: The editorial team is responsible for making publication decisions based on the manuscript's quality, relevance, originality, and contribution to the field, without any discrimination.
  • Fair Play: Editors evaluate manuscripts for their intellectual content without regard to the authors' race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, or citizenship.
  • Confidentiality: Editors and editorial staff must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, or other editorial advisers, as appropriate.
  • Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest: Editors will not use unpublished information in their own research without the express written consent of the author(s). Editors should also recuse themselves from handling manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest.

For the Publisher

  • Ethical Oversight: The publisher is committed to promoting ethical standards and will take appropriate action to address any cases of research misconduct or unethical publishing behavior.

Corrections and Retractions: If errors are found after publication, the journal will issue a correction. In cases of serious misconduct, such as plagiarism or data fabrication, the journal will retract the article in line with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.

Article Review Policy and Process

The SPRY Journal of Economics and Management Sciences is committed to maintaining high standards of scholarly integrity and rigor through a thorough and transparent peer review process. All submitted manuscripts undergo a multi-step review process designed to ensure quality and relevance to the journal’s scope.

  1. Initial Editorial Review (3-5 Working Days)
    Upon submission, each manuscript is subjected to an initial editorial review by our editorial team.During this phase, the editors assess the manuscript for relevance, originality, and adherence to submission guidelines. Manuscripts that do not meet the basic criteria may be rejected or returned to the authors for revisions. This initial review is completed within 3-5 working days.
  1. National Reviewer Report (10-15 Working Days)
    If the manuscript passes the initial editorial review, it is then assigned to one or more national reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. The national reviewers provide detailed feedback on the manuscript's methodology, relevance, and contribution to the field. This review aims to ensure the paper meets the journal's academic standards and provides value to the scholarly community. The national review process typically takes between 10-15 working days.
  1. International Reviewer Report (15-30 Working Days)
    To maintain a diverse and global perspective, selected manuscripts are also reviewed by international experts in the field. These reviewers offer insights into the manuscript's international relevance, originality, and methodological rigor. The international review process takes between 15-30 working days, allowing for a comprehensive evaluation by scholars from various educational contexts.
  1. Final Decision and Notification
    Based on the feedback from both national and international reviewers, the editorial team makes a final decision regarding the manuscript's acceptance, revision, or rejection. Authors are notified of the decision, along with any required revisions, to ensure the manuscript meets the journal's publication standards.
